The latest iteration of the coveted count has been unveiled and Rodrgio reigns atop of the pack with the track, which serves as the premiere taste of her sophomore album ‘Guts’ (due September 8).
She pulled off the feat with the following first-week metrics in the US:
- 35.5 million streams
- 26,000 sales (across CD, vinyl, and downloads)
- 26.3 million all-format radio play
With ‘Vampire, 20-year-old Rodrigo makes history by:
- Becoming the youngest artist to debut three songs at #1 on the Hot 100 (following the chart-topping launches of ‘Drivers License’ and ‘Good 4 U’ in 2021.
- Becoming the first artist to debut at #1 with the lead singles from their first two albums.
On the streaming front, she sets the record for the biggest debut for a solo song in 2023 on Spotify.
